Media-driven lessons are, quite-frankly, the cost of entry to engaging today’s students. Here are just two examples of how I’ve brought multimedia presentations into the classroom:

This first example takes plot development—a concept that no student wakes up thinking about—and contextualizes it to a little-known, award-winning animated short that they love to watch.

The second example is a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Prezi presentation created in alignment with the Boys Town curriculum aimed at teaching social skills to traditionally underserved students.
